Terms of use

1. Scope

These terms govern use of the “KickQuiz” app and associated features. The developer named in the relevant app-store listing is the applicable provider.

2. Description of the service

KickQuiz is a quiz and multiplayer app with single-player, friend and notification features. Certain features may be internet-based and involve third-party services.

KickQuiz is an independent football quiz. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the app is not officially affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by FIFA, UEFA, DFL/Bundesliga, the Premier League, any club, league, association, player or other rights holder. Player, club, competition and stadium names are used only descriptively and factually in quiz questions.

3. Using the app

• The app may be used only in accordance with applicable law and these terms.
• Manipulation, abuse of multiplayer functions and disruption of the service are prohibited.
• For account-related functions, users are responsible for the accuracy of their information.

4. Accounts and content

Where the app uses accounts, friend lists, matchmaking or gameplay-related user data, users are responsible for their conduct within the app. Content or interactions that violate the law, third-party rights or the integrity of the service may be restricted or removed.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a KickQuiz account. Your date of birth must be stated truthfully. For users under 16, advertising and analytics are restricted; details are in the privacy policy. Accounts that violate the age limit may be suspended or deleted. Guest modes without an account are not affected.

4a. Quiz questions, data sources and third-party rights

Quiz questions and football information are compiled editorially. Despite careful checks, facts, club affiliations, transfer fees, statistics or competition information can change or contain errors. There is no entitlement to completeness, up-to-date information or permanent availability of individual questions.

The app uses football facts—including player and club names, historic careers, line-ups, transfers, competition information, positions, nationalities and statistics—only descriptively for editorial quiz questions. They are not presented as an official data feed, live service or database reviewed or approved by rights holders.

Historic transfer fees in KickQuiz are editorially estimated quiz values. They are based on publicly available information, multiple editorial sources and our own plausibility checks. They are not official financial information or financial advice and may differ from figures provided by clubs, media, databases or platforms.

Rights in trademarks, club and competition names, logos, images and other protected content remain with their respective owners. Unless expressly licensed, no official logos, badges or player images are claimed as our own branding. Following contact through the Support page, we review reports of infringement, missing sources or problematic content and may remove or amend material.

4b. Rights in KickQuiz and protection against imitation

For components expressly provided under free licences, the applicable licence terms take precedence over the restrictions in this section. This includes data, data adaptations and images identified in the source and licence notices, and open-source components labelled accordingly. These terms do not restrict the rights to use, adapt and redistribute those components granted by their licences. Public-domain material remains freely usable.

To the extent protected by law, KickQuiz, the app name, app structure, user interfaces, text, editorial quiz questions, data compilations, game flows, graphics, icons, logos, designs, animations, audio/video and other app elements are protected by copyright, trademark, database, unfair-competition or other rights. All rights remain with the relevant owner.

Use of the app does not grant a licence to copy, publish, sell, rent, recreate or distribute KickQuiz or substantial parts of it, use it for automated scraping, or incorporate it into training data or datasets outside the app. In particular, systematic extraction, reproduction or redistribution of editorial questions, answer data, databases, designs or other content is prohibited unless mandatory law permits it.

Reverse engineering, decompilation, circumventing technical safeguards, abusive automation, imitation intended to mislead, and using KickQuiz content for competing or confusingly similar services are prohibited unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Copies, imitations or infringements may be reported through the Support page.

5. Availability

There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability of the app. Maintenance, technical faults, platform issues or changes to external services can cause temporary restrictions.

6. Advertising and monetisation

The app may contain advertising, including rewarded ads. Availability can depend on technical, regional or platform requirements. There is no entitlement to continuous availability of particular advertising formats.

Where required, consent or privacy choices for advertising and tracking may be requested through the app or platform. If required consent is withheld, certain advertising functions may be restricted.

7. Reporting rights or content issues

If you believe KickQuiz content infringes rights, lacks a source or is factually incorrect, email support.app.kk@gmail.com or use the Support page. Please identify the content as precisely as possible.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is limited to foreseeable losses typical of the contract. Mandatory statutory claims—particularly in cases of intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health—remain unaffected.

9. Changes to or discontinuation of the service

App functions may be developed, changed or discontinued where necessary for technical, legal or operational reasons.

11. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. Where applicable, the mandatory law of the country in which the user habitually resides applies.
