Two clubs appear on screen. Your task is to name a player who represented both. The shared connection counts; a direct transfer between the clubs is not required.

How to play

Enter a suitable player's name and confirm your answer. A correct solution extends the streak; a wrong one ends it. A pair of clubs may have several valid connections. The website compares your entry with players and name variants stored in the question catalogue.

Think in connections

Start with the club whose former players you know best. Work through different eras and consider who also represented the second club. Do not think only of a famous player's most recent club. An early career stop or loan may supply the connection if it is included among the recorded player spells.

EXAMPLE · TWO CLUBS

Real Madrid ↔ FC Bayern Munich

Which player could you name as a connection between these clubs?

Show one possible solution

Arjen Robben. FC Bayern names Real Madrid as his previous club and records his arrival for the 2009/10 season. This makes him a sourced connection for this example. It does not mean he is the only player to have represented both clubs. View the evidence in FC Bayern's club history.

What helps when an answer is rejected

A plausible connection is not necessarily complete in the quiz catalogue. First check the full name and exact club. Similar club names, youth teams and coaching-only roles can cause confusion. This mode requires a playing spell, not work as a coach or executive.

If an answer you believe is correct is rejected, report both clubs, the player and, if possible, evidence for both spells. This lets us determine whether a name variant is missing, the catalogue needs adding to, or the assumed connection is incorrect. That is more useful than reporting only “wrong answer”.
